Tru by Hilton Sandusky

The best hotel experience I’ve had in a very, very long time! One word best describes this hotel - CLEAN! From the parking lot, the lobby, the staff, the rooms… everything is just clean. Something we always hope for while traveling but seldom get. I’ve noticed that the TRU rooms are a bit on the smaller side but aside from that, there’s zero disappointment. The room and bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. I love the soap options (lemon and sugar is fantastic!) The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet nights rest. Employees are super kind and very accommodating. I had a minor glitch in my traveling schedule and they were more than accommodating to help work it out. Though I did not have breakfast there did appear to be a great selection. Again, everything was kept clean and tidy. You can tell whomever manages this location takes a lot of pride in its appearance and the staff appear to all be happy here. We will have to return to Sandusky later this year and there will be no question as to which hotel I will be booking for future trips!

We stayed two nights while visiting Cedar point. For the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised with the great stay we had here. Rooms were spotless, quiet and comfortable. Any staff we came across were courteous and attentive to our needs. The hot breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it was fine. It's only about 10-15 minutes to drive to the Cedar Point gates and within 5 minutes to any restaurants or shopping you'd want. We will definitely stay here again, next time we go to Cedar Point.

The staff and atmosphere was very friendly. The location is a very short drive to Cedar Point. We decided to stay overnight last minute. I booked a room in 5 minutes the evening we wanted to stay. The prices are reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the hotel smells good! The pool being open from 7:00am till 11:00pm is fantastic! My kids love that. We will stay here again for future trips to Cedar Point. Good hotel!
